Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24.08.26

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to enquiries and bookings for private psychological therapy provided by Saskia Wills.

By using this website or arranging an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Before commencing therapy, you will also be provided with a separate Therapy Agreement, which sets out the arrangements and expectations relating specifically to your therapeutic work

together.

1. About the service

I am Saskia Wills, a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse. I provide private psychological therapy for adults, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Information provided on this website is for general information purposes only. It is not intended to constitute medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and reading information on this website does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

Therapy is offered following an initial assessment to consider your needs and whether the service is appropriate for you.

2. Appointments

Appointments are available remotely by telephone or video, and face-to-face at selected locations.

Details of available appointments, fees and locations will be provided when you enquire or make a booking.

Appointments are subject to availability. An appointment is only confirmed once the booking arrangements have been agreed.

You must be physically located within the United Kingdom when attending a remote therapy appointment.

3. Fees and payment

The current fees for therapy are:

  • Remote therapy: £85 per session

  • Face-to-face therapy: £90 per session

Fees are payable in accordance with the payment arrangements agreed when your appointment is booked.

I reserve the right to change my fees in the future. Where a fee change affects ongoing therapy, I will provide reasonable notice before the new fee takes effect.

4. Cancellation and missed appointments

Cancellation and appointment attendance arrangements are set out in your Therapy Agreement.

In general, if you cancel an appointment more than 48 hours in advance, you will not be charged for the session, and an alternative appointment will be offered where possible.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, or do not attend without notice, the full session fee will normally be payable. Genuine emergencies will be considered on an individual basis and the fee may be reduced or waived at my discretion.

If you are late for an appointment, the session can continue but it will not normally be possible to extend the appointment to compensate for the time missed. If you have not attended within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and have not made contact, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation without notice.

If you are unable to attend a planned face-to-face appointment, you may request to attend remotely by telephone or video where appropriate and subject to availability. You must be physically located within the UK to attend remotely.

The terms in your Therapy Agreement will apply where there is any further detail regarding cancellations or attendance.

5. Remote therapy

Remote therapy is provided using the agreed telephone or video platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable device, a reliable internet or telephone connection, and a private and appropriate environment in which to participate in your appointment.

You should take reasonable steps to prevent other people from overhearing or accessing your session.

If technical difficulties prevent a session from taking place, I will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue or agree an alternative arrangement.

You must be physically located within the UK for the duration of a remote therapy appointment.

6. Confidentiality and privacy

Confidentiality is an important part of psychological therapy. Information about how your personal data is collected, used, stored and protected is provided in my Privacy Policy.

The limits of confidentiality and the circumstances in which information may need to be shared will be explained as part of the Therapy Agreement and the therapeutic process.

7. Therapy is not an emergency service

Private therapy is not an emergency or crisis service and I cannot provide continuous or out-of-hours support.

If you are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis or believe that you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, please contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service rather than relying on this website or waiting for your next therapy appointment.

8. Ending therapy

You are free to end therapy at any time. Where possible, it is recommended that this is discussed during a session so that therapy can be brought to an appropriate and planned conclusion.

I may also recommend ending or pausing therapy where this is clinically appropriate, for example if your needs would be better met by another service or type of support.

Further information about ending therapy will be provided in your Therapy Agreement.

9. Website information

I make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, information may change and I cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate or current.

The content of this website should not be used as a substitute for professional assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

13. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the service, website or relevant requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with the date it was last updated.

Where changes materially affect your arrangements as an existing client, I will communicate these to you where appropriate.
